SMC - TerrAdaptor Bolt Replacement Kit

The SMC TerrAdaptor Bolt Replacement Kit contains the manufacturer-specified fasteners used to secure the half plate to the TerrAdaptor’s main head plate. The kit includes four socket-head cap screws and four Nylok nuts, providing a direct replacement for the four removable head-assembly bolts.

Correct installation is essential to the stability of the head assembly. SMC specifies a tightening torque of 450 in/lb, with the plates fully mated and each bolt projecting just beyond the locking nut. Short bolts are used for a Tripod head and long bolts for a Quadpod head, so the supplied hardware should be checked against the intended configuration before installation.
