Rock Exotica - Vortex Leg/Foot Pin
The Rock Exotica Arizona Vortex is a modular multipod used to create artificial high-directional systems for rope rescue, confined-space access and technical rigging. Its adjustable components support tripod, bipod and monopod configurations.
The Vortex Leg/Foot Pin is the 3/8-inch ball-lock pin used throughout the system’s leg assemblies. It connects Inner and Outer Legs, joins additional Outer Leg sections, secures either leg type to the A-Frame or Gin Pole Head and attaches Flat or Raptor Feet.
The steel pin has an 80 kN strength rating and a push-button mechanism for quick assembly and adjustment. Once inserted, both locking balls must extend completely beyond the component wall. Remove the pin from service if it becomes bent, corroded, excessively worn or fails to lock reliably.
