Rock Exotica - Vortex Head Pin
The Rock Exotica Arizona Vortex is a modular multipod used
to create artificial high-directional systems for rope rescue, confined-space
access and technical rigging. Its interchangeable components support tripod,
bipod and monopod configurations.
The Vortex Head Pin is a steel quick-release pin used to
connect head components, including joining the A-Frame and Gin Pole Heads or
securing a headset pulley wheel. Its push-button mechanism allows quick
assembly and adjustment while locking the components in position.
The pin is rated to 80 kN and supplied individually. Check
that it passes fully through the aligned components and locks securely before
loading the system. An essential option for replacing pins showing any corrosion,
deformation, excessive wear or unreliable locking action.
