Rock Exotica - Vortex A-Frame Joiner
The Rock Exotica Arizona Vortex is a modular multipod used
to create portable artificial high-directional (AHD) systems for rope rescue,
confined-space access and technical rigging. Its interchangeable heads and legs
can be assembled in a variety of configurations to suit different sites and
loading applications.
The Vortex A-Frame Joiner is the main head section used to
connect two Vortex legs in classic or sideways A-frame configurations. It can
also be joined to the Vortex Gin Pole Head to form a tripod, with multiple pin
positions allowing minor adjustments to leg length and orientation.
The machined aluminium head includes several rigging and
anchor points, a recessed rope path and mounting positions for a compatible
pulley or Omni-Block. This is an individual Vortex component rather than a
complete anchor system and is intended for trained users working from the
Vortex manual and a site-specific rigging plan.
