Petzl - Knee Ascent Kit

The complete Petzl KNEE ASCENT Kit makes ascent using SRS techniques easier. Composed of a tube, an elastic band, a knee ascender and a foot loop, it integrates with the SEQUOIA harness and other tree-care sit harnesses. The elastic runs through the plastic tube, which installs around the waistbelt using the textile loops on a SEQUOIA harness, or the supplied accessory loops and screws.

The high-tension elastic wraps around the waistbelt to improve efficiency during ascent. Each end has an eyelet for connecting the included MINO accessory carabiner; joining the ends centres the rope clamp and increases the elastic tension. The knee ascender combines a right PANTIN rope clamp with an adjustable foot loop, while the PANTIN catch makes installing the rope easier. Each component is available separately as a replacement part.
