Beal - Solace Hold Up
The Beal Solace Hold Up is a full-body harness for industrial rope access, work positioning and fall arrest. It combines the padded Solace harness with Beal’s Hold Up chest ascender, providing an ascending setup without the need to buy an ascender separately.
The Hold Up sits low on the harness and uses a 90-degree offset attachment hole to keep the device flat and correctly orientated against the body. This positioning helps the rope run smoothly through the ascender and increases the usable movement of each step during rope ascent. An extended cam-release lever makes the device easier to open, while its metal mechanism is designed for regular professional use.
Eleven adjustment points allow the waistbelt, leg loops, shoulder straps and leg-loop height to be fitted closely to different body shapes; men and women alike. The shoulder buckle and quick release leg loops allow the harness to be simply fitted and removed without pulling the harness over your head.
Sternal and dorsal attachment points are provided for fall arrest, with folding lateral rings for work positioning and a ventral point for suspension and rope-access systems. Five rigid gear loops, six smaller accessory loops and attachment slots for Beal Workstation accessories provide plenty of equipment storage.
The Hold Up is a progression device and must not be treated as a fall-arrest or backup device.
